- Ten halls to feature new specialty zones, international pavilions and industry seminars
- Three specialized product zones in the international hall (Hall 11.2)
Due to overwhelming support from the industry, the show management of interzum guangzhou / CIFM 2010 has decided to expand its scale from eight to ten halls spanning 100,000 sqm of exhibition space just two months before the show opens its doors this year - a 25% increase in area compared to the last edition.
The addition of the two new halls at the China Import and Export Fair Complex, aims to strengthen interzum guangzhou / CIFM’s position as the definitive one-stop purchasing platform in Asia.
There will be three newly added feature zones in the international hall (Hall 11.2): the Materials and Components for Upholstery & Bedding zone with displays including surface materials, textile materials, filling materials and components, PVC, mattresses and linens, electric equipment and various other bedding manufacturing machinery and accessory; the Materials and Components for Interior Works zone with displays including wood and wood products, parquets, laminates, veneers, corks, floor coverings, surface treatments and adhesives; and the Furniture Hardware and Components zone featuring a full spectrum of hardware and components for furniture production.
The strong presence of international pavilions will remain a highlight in 2010. interzum guangzhou / CIFM 2010 will continue to welcome the loyal German, Italian, USA and Taiwan Pavilions, and the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) Pavilion from the USA.
A series of specially tailored seminars will be conducted on unprecedented scale alongside this year’s event with the great support from the China National Furniture Association, the Guangdong Furniture Association, the China Foreign Trade Centre Guangzhou Exhibition Corp., and the industrial media on 27 and 28 March.
The seminar will be divided into 3 forums: Furniture Production Innovation and Technology; Furniture Production Market and Interior Design; and Furniture Production Innovation and Sustainable Development, to provide a platform for industrial organizations and associations to discuss how to materialize environmental protection, energy conservation and emission reduction in the furniture and interior design industries.
Senior personnel from leading enterprises and renowned designers are invited to bring the world’s leading technologies and design ideas to China; experts and scholars from home and abroad will also analyze various issues in the advancement of the furniture industry. Besides accessing the latest market information and development trend of the industry, participants will also have the opportunity to interact face to face with industrial authorities, senior enterprise representatives and professional designers.
interzum guangzhou / CIFM 2010 will be held from 27 to 30 March 2010 at the China Import and Export Fair Complex, once again in conjunction with the China International Furniture Fair (CIFF).
